Hello! I am Md Mainul Islam (Founder) and Akhlima Akhtar (Co-Founder) of Green Plate. With the global development, we constantly have different needs and product requirements. Majority of which is being made through plastic and widely used, one of the products being one time plastic plate. During Iftar in the month of Ramadan, I realise how much we are using these plastic and styrofoam plates which are seriously harmful to our body and our environment. The journey of Green Plate started from this thought. Our aim is to increase the use of plates made of leaves instead of single-use plates of plastic and styrofoam. So that we can give a beautiful world to our biodiversity by reducing our own and environmental pollution. In our journey of becoming an entrepreneur, we are also trying to contribute to their socio-economic development by connecting the women of the Santhal villages of Rajshahi. Green Plate is our journey to create a beautiful world by reducing the loss of nature and biodiversity by making and using these plates from natural ingredients.
